1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Security Checker ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Security Checker is a web application security scanning service. You provide a URL, and our automated tools perform passive security analysis including checking for exposed secrets, misconfigured databases, missing security headers, CORS issues, and SSL/TLS configuration.
The Service performs passive analysis only. We do not attempt to exploit vulnerabilities, modify data, or perform any destructive actions against scanned targets.
3. Acceptable Use
You may only scan web applications that you own or have explicit written permission to test. Scanning applications without authorisation is a violation of these Terms and may be illegal. See our Acceptable Use Policy for full details.
4. Accounts and Billing
Free scans are available without an account. Paid features (full reports, subscriptions) require a valid payment method via Stripe. All prices are in USD.
- One-time reports ($19): Access to a single full report. Non-refundable once the report has been viewed.
- Pro ($29/month or $228/year): Unlimited scans, full reports, PDF downloads, and monitoring. Cancel anytime — access continues through end of billing period.
- Agency ($99/month or $828/year): Everything in Pro plus white-label reports, team seats, and priority scanning. Cancel anytime.
You may manage your subscription and payment method through your dashboard or by contacting support.
5. Refund Policy
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods. One-time report purchases are non-refundable once the full report has been accessed. If a scan fails or produces no results, contact us for a credit or refund.
6. Intellectual Property
Scan results and reports generated by the Service are licensed to you for your own use. You may share reports with your team or clients. You may not resell access to the Service without an Agency subscription.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that our scans will detect all security vulnerabilities. A passing scan does not mean your application is fully secure. The Service is not a substitute for a professional penetration test or security audit.
We are not responsible for any damages resulting from vulnerabilities that were not detected, or from actions taken based on scan results.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Security Checker's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
